Prevention Schedule for Ranikhet and Flu Outbreaks

  1. Day 13:
  • Administer ND Killed Vaccine (0.3 ml per bird) subcutaneously in the neck region. Use the silver cap.
  1. Day 42:
  • Administer Vesper Varient Killed Vaccine (0.5 ml per bird) subcutaneously in the neck region.
  1. Day 48:
  • Administer Vesper ND Killed Vaccine (0.5 ml per bird) subcutaneously in the neck region.
  1. Day 90:
  • Administer Vesper Varient Killed Vaccine (0.5 ml per bird) intramuscularly in the thigh muscle region.
  1. Day 100:
  • Administer Vesper ND Killed Vaccine (0.5 ml per bird) intramuscularly in the thigh muscle region. Use the silver cap.
  1. Week 35-40:
  • Administer Vesper Varient Killed Vaccine (0.5 ml per bird) intramuscularly in the thigh muscle region.

During Local Outbreaks:

      Feed and Supplementation:

  • Use Cmi Plus at 500 gm per ton of feed for 2-3 weeks.
  • Administer Cmi Plus Liquid at 20 ml per 100 birds in the morning for 5 days a week, over 3 weeks.
  • Provide Ves Grow Boost at 100 gm per 1000 birds as liquid feed for 10-15 days.

      Vaccination and Supplements:

  • If 3 weeks have passed since the last vaccination, administer Lasota at a 1.5 dose.
  • Administer Spacin Liquid at 1 ml per 100 birds continuously for 24 hours for 5-7 days to prevent E. coli infections.
  • Use Nephrocare Liquid at 20 ml per 100 birds for 7 days, or alternatively, U Care.
  • Administer Cmi Plus Liquid at 20 ml per 100 birds for 7 days to boost immunity.
  • Administer Respiron Liquid at 20 ml per 100 birds for 7 days to maintain respiratory system function.

Important Note:

  • Do not use any water sanitizers or disinfectants during outbreaks, as they are ineffective
